That Dire Weasel part reminded me of almost TPK’ing with one dire rat in the first D&D 4e encounter I ran. Sadly the Dire Rat was a non combatant that my players antagonized into attacking.
Sometimes the TPK during the first adventure is too hilarious not to allow from time to time.
I’m now quite known for critical hitting at the worst possible moment with my monsters. The dire rat was my only triple crit monster though.

This reminds me of my time as a DM with a bunch of new players. Cept I had six who tried to kill each other every sessions. Can’t wait for Season 2!
